Welcome to our website. NBPC is committed to Jesus Christ and work to ensure that the witness of Presbyterians of African descent is healthy, growing, dynamic and empowering; that racial justice is integral in the church's self-understanding and lived out in every aspect of ministry within the Presbyterian Church.
We welcome you to join our chapter as a member, affiliated member or a mission partner. You are also invited to attend our monthly meetings.
We meet on the first Tuesday of the month and alternate Noon and evening (6:30 pm) meeting times. Meeting begin with a light lunch or dinner and are held at Oxford and Cedar Park Presby Church.
Chapter co-sponsored with the Philadelphia Presbytery a Black History Month Celebration program in February and a Christmas gathering in December.
The Chapter meetings consist of training seminars, workshops; guest presenters; and information sharing across the churches and patterning with presbytery. Our goal is to develop collaborative efforts among our churches and ministries, grow our membership and work closer together.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic and safe distancing, Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday each month via conference call until further notice. If you are not on email distribution list to receive the number and access to call in, click on the Secretary name above and send Joan an email requesting the information.
Members, Visitors & Guest are all welcome to attend!
